Can You Help?

Manchester University Wind Orchestra is a non-profit making organisation. Takings from concerts and donations to MUWO are either put towards extending our library or to the huge cost of touring, unless the concert is for a specific charity. We are funded almost entirely by the Manchester University Music Society, without whose help the orchestra would cease to exist. |

We are constantly looking for potential sponsors and benefactors to help continue the growth of the orchestra. |

In 2000, Manchester Airport plc. awarded the orchestra a major grant of £1000 without which we would not have been able to accept high-profile invitations from BASBWE and the National Association of Youth Orchestras to perform at their respective festivals. |

Are you or your company in a position to help us? We are starting a chair sponsorship scheme, where you can sponsor either a particular chair (e.g. 1st Trumpet), or an entire section of the orchestra in return for advertisements in our promotional literature. |
